The ELC believes in life-long study of the word of God.We offer a range of Christian Education opportunities to members and non-members from learning about Jesus to in-depth study of Lutheran Doctrine.

Children’s Church is held on Sundays for children from age 3, with a nursery for infants and toddlers.

Bible Days offer children a day of lessons, art, songs, and games to celebrate God in their lives. These are usually offered during the April and October school breaks.

First Communion Classes

We offer a course for youth to learn about the Sacrament of Holy Communion--how and why Lutherans celebrate it often in our worship. This class is not the same as Confirmation and targets youth in grades 6-8. Upon completion, youth are invited to partake in the Sacrament with the congregation.
The next session is scheduled to begin after Easter.

Confirmation Classes provide the traditional study of Martin Luther's teaching and the Lutheran doctrine for more mature youth.

Adult Education

Lutheran 101 is designed for those new to our congregation and to those who wish to learn more about the teachings of Martin Luther and what we, as Lutherans, believe.
Pastor Shwar is currently offering these sessions on Wednesdays at Vasco, from 19:00 to 21:00.
